Taste testing these scrumptious spicy pizza kale chips in the epic kitchen today as we prep for our retreat group coming in on Sunday! When you have a snack attack moment reach for these crunchy healthy chips instead of any white processed cracker in a box. Busy moms and entrepreneurs alike ask me for satisfying yummy snack ideas daily. THIS special sauce is key to making AWESOME kale chips. And because I love you, and hope you make these for everyone you love, here is the recipe… Spicy Pizza Sauce: - 1/4 cup sunflower seeds, soaked for 2 to 4 hours and drained – 1/4 cup hemp seeds – 1/4 nutritional yeast – 1/4 SunDried tomatoes, soaked for 30 mins. - 1/2 large red bell pepper, seeded and chopped. - 1 clove of garlic – 2 tbsp lemon juice – 2 tbsp filtered water – 1/2 tsp dried oregano - 6 basil leaves – 1/2 tsp sea salt – 1/4 crushed red pepper Blend up all ingredient in a high speed blender. Roughly chop 1 bunch of kale and place in a bowl. Add the sauce to the kale and massage it into the leaves. Arrange the kale in a single layer on a teflex-lined dehydrator tray. Dehydrate for 8 hours or overnight, until crisp. Make several batches because these babies go fast!!!
